Cape Town's Leaf Apparel has joined forces with Lover Boys FC for its second collaborative collection, entitled 'Together.’ In contrast to their first partnership, the 20/21 capsule collection focuses on performance and utilitarianism—references to which are subtly woven into each piece.  Comprising four core pieces—the First XI Jersey, Utility Shorts, a packable Utility Boot Bag, and a Heritage Long Sleeve Golfer—the lineup takes inspiration from the match day timeline itself. Think of it like this: you won't look out of place during the commute, at the game, or rolling up to the post-match party in this 'fit. We love the subtle, yet considered, nods to football heritage that find their way onto the pieces, from the diagonal stripe on the Golfer (plucked from '70s Peruvian kits) to the relaxed silhouette of the First XI Jersey (inspired by those worn by Chelsea in the 19/20 season).  What's more, the jersey carries the mantras 'No Room For Racism' and 'No To Xenophobia' quite literally on its sleeves, in a bid to spread positive messaging through the collection and in the sports world, too. As the brand puts it, "Together we play better, together we create better, and together we feel better."
